Just imagine… school is out…

But, instead of sitting around the house watching TV, walking around the mall, or hanging out at
the swimming pool, your parents have signed you up for Camp on Horseback!

You have a chance to learn to ride horses, how to care for horses, and you’ll have loads of fun
while creating unique memories. Something special happens when you’re able to form a
relationship and level of comfort with a horse.

Camps start at 9:00 am and run until 5:00 pm.

  • At RNR Stables we offer four-calendar Camp events each year Spring Break, Summer, Thanksgiving, and Christmas:
  • Spring Break Horseback Riding Camps: Spring camp offers a wonderful opportunity for participants to prepare for summer horse riding activities and events that are available in the local area. Our camp participants engage in a variety of activities designed to increase equine knowledge and skills while interacting with others in the camp. We encourage all participants to work with others in a variety of tasks and lessons while building new relationships in many fun and unique experiences. Stay tuned for 2024 dates.
  • Summer Weekly Horseback Riding Camps: Our weekly summer camps for kids are the first full week of summer break after school has ended for the school year. The weekly camp days are Monday – Thursday from 9 am – 5 pm each day. Campers participate in a variety of activities designed to increase their equine knowledge and skills while interacting with other kids in camp.
  • We encourage all participants to work with others in a variety of tasks and lessons while building new relationships in fun and unique experiences.
  • Camp participants are limited to children at least 8 years old and no older than 18 years old.
  • Thanksgiving Horseback Riding Camps Our Thanksgiving Horseback Riding Camp will follow the same Thanksgiving Holiday schedule honored by the Denton School District.   Our Thanksgiving camp participants engage in a variety of activities designed to increase equine knowledge and skills while interacting with others in the camp. We encourage all participants to work with others in a variety of tasks and lessons while building new relationships in many fun and unique horseback riding experiences.
  • Christmas Horseback Riding Camp Our Christmas campers participate engage in a variety of activities designed to increase equine knowledge and skills while interacting with others in the camp. We encourage all participants to work with others in a variety of tasks and lessons while building new relationships in many fun and unique experiences.

It is much more fun than playing on the iPad or lying around the house. It’s a really special experience they will cherish and remember for a lifetime. Check it out for your child or favorite children. For younger children and adults we also provide a variety of riding and learning options.
